Tell Your Stories
I teach storytelling classes (in disguise as Art classes, because great art tells a story). I believe knowing, telling, and hearing our stories is what moves us forward and to better places.
This was confirmed for me again when listening to a woman’s ’simple story’. As she told this seemingly small story, I could feel something monumental happening within myself. Actions she described herself and another performing- I suddenly imagined myself doing. Actions I surely would have, and have, previously shied away from. But, in that instant, I felt myself living that moment through her. Just then, I knew if/when some similar situation presented itself, I would have the blueprint, the direction- I could be someone’s hero. I could be my own hero.
Plant the seeds.
